The weblog for Broge.com. Nooz you need. Period.
I'se so behind on this website. Oh well. You get what you pay for, so I hear. Lauren, of the Wiedwald clan, was baptized this past Sunday and was quite cute in her bonnet. We all made a point of gorging on the feast prepared by Maria in honor of the lovely little lady. Lauren did not care about her Christening gifts, preferring to eat the bows instead - but no matter, we all knew she wouldn't care anyway.
This weekend saw the culmionation of my carpentry skills as I installed my new speaker box in my little Pontiac. I have no trunk but the music sounds so good, I just don't care. Tonight: Pelican's Reef with some old friends. This Thursday will see me travelling to Atlanta for a Medquist Technical Meeting, which should prove interesting. OK, now you know all the little news, don'tyou feel better?
What the heck is this nonsense? Snow? On April 6? Surely you jest Mr. Weatherman. But I know I saw white stuff on the ground this morning when I woke. It's gone now, but I am still wondering why the snow thinks that it can come around three months after I've been in the mood to build a snowman and last. In other news, the elder Broges are done with their voyage eastward and Kate's birthday celebration is tomorrow.
I'm hoping to get some additional work done around this website because quite frankly I'm ashamed of the way it looks right now. So many things on the to do list and about five minutes to do them.....oy vey. Happy birthday Kate!!

Joey's Corner!
The news is news: the egg hunt went well, and the kidlets all have a lot of candy and sweets to rot their teeth out. I had a blast watching mine pounce on the eggs the Easter bunny hid around the house (and breathed a sigh of relief that the dog didn't get a hold of any of them). Also today, the senior Broges should be well on their way to Tucamcari, New Mexico, in a van full of small animals and luggage. Here's to a safe journey.
My man Joey (aka Hotmail Boy), king of cool music, will soon be posting little snippets of wisdom up here. If he gets out of line, feel free to
slap him around!
