The weblog for Broge.com. Nooz you need. Period.
Friends...Romans...countrymen...lend me your eyeballs...
I am pleased to announce that I will begin interning with Ken and Kitty at 96.5 The Star's morning show starting next week. Many thanks to Ryan Hill, the producer, along with Ken and Kitty both for this opportunity!
I also got a chance to be on the crew for the Songwriter Connection, a locally produced television show hosted by Dave Lenahan, director for the Cincinnati campus of the Ohio Center for Broadcasting. Shawn Tyler Gray was the featured guest; he's a Christian singer-songwriter with loads of talent. I'll post here with airtime once I find out when exactly that's going to be. Drop by Shawn's website at
www.shawntylergray.com for more information on his music and to listen to his work.
Busy day ahead of me, gots to get a movin' on...take care of yourselves!
I tell you, life is good. Real good. If you don't agree, well, I can't really help you out there, but trust me - it all starts with yourself.
I want to send a special thank you to Ken, Kitty, and Ryan from
96.5 The Star for taking the time to meet with me this morning to discuss an internship possibility with the morning show at the station. Talk about inflating a guy's ego...Ken and Ryan had checked out this very website and found some interesting information on it. And here all this time I keep saying that only five people ever look at it, and three of them are me, myself and I. Guess I was wrong on that count!! Anyway...great people, make sure you check out their morning show if you're here in the Cincinnati area.
This is gonna be short because I've got lots going on today, including my shift at the Internet radio station at school.
Check me out Wednesdays from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. and get back into that 80s groove! Cya...
Wow, has it been that long? I guess so, if you look at the dates. What's been that long?
Well, it's been forever since the weblog on the home page worked properly. There are a lot of reasons for that, but people don't care about the process, they care about results. That said, a lot has happened since my last post.
- I've started school again at the Ohio Centers for Broadcast. If you would like to check out my work, head over to this page and download away.
- My sister Kate is engaged to be married this October (finally!)
- The site has moved to a new hosting company, Globat.
- Every page has been re-designed to make updates easier and more efficient.
- Lots of new content has been added in nearly every section, and a lot more is coming.
So as you can see, lots has happened even if it has not been readily apparent. The photo galleries are still rather incomplete; unfortunately I was unable to salvage the database after a catastrophic problem (more than one, Murphy came up and shook my hand). However, both the guestbook and the gallery are online and working, so that's a plus.
Now that the blog is operational again, maybe - just maybe - you'll stop by more often to see how things are going. For now, that's the nooz...cya l8r!
