The weblog for Broge.com. Nooz you need. Period.
Much time and many moons have passed since I actually made a post, no? Sorry about that. Since I decided to make a career change and get into radio, school has been all-consuming. That and the fact that I've been working hard for Cincinnati Family Radio paying my dues, that is.
So it's here: graduation day. It seemed so far away not all that long ago and now it's hard to believe that I won't be in class three days a week. Hardest of all was saying goodbye to my baby, the school's Internet radio station (
Beonair.com 80s). I put so much of myself into that studio and the station that it's hard to leave it behind, but then there are bigger and better things waiting for me out there somewhere. If you'd like to hear my demo reel, it's posted also:
If you didn't know, sister Kate got married a few weeks before this to her longtime beau, Tom. In fact, they just got back from the honeymoon. Now they can start fighting like a real married couple.
So many things happen and I never seem to find the time to share them... ah well, as the commercial goes, Life Comes At You Fast. I'm not going to sell you insurance but it's a true statement.
With any luck, I may start picking up some on-air shifts for at least one of the local stations in the cluster that I work for. If I do, I'll let you know here. Geography is no excuse: all of our stations have streaming audio from their respective websites. So there!
