Big changes are coming!

It's been a while since the site had anything done with it. But the time has not been wasted; there are a lot of new tricks up my sleeve. To give you a taste:

• A complete refresh of the site design, which you may have already seen. This will make everything more consistent. Navigation, color scheme, graphics...it's all new. A preview is available if you want to see what's in the offing.
• The new photo gallery is live and currently available. It's powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery, a freely available PHP script. No more waiting to see the latest pictures. The gallery offers a slide show, e-cards, comments and a photo voting system, and you can also register and upload your own pictures to the site.
• A new blog system based on Moveable Type should be forthcoming as well. It makes it much easier to update this stuff.
• There is a chance that there will be a bulletin board going up soon, although I have not decided on it. Why? I'm not sure who would use it, frankly, and it's effort that may not need to be expended.

As you can see, I've been busy. Since the best is still to come, I encourage you to hop over and sign the guestbook, and visit the new photo galleries. There's something there for my friends and family and anyone else who's interested.

I'm not promising dates, here, folks - that's just a way to get into trouble (although I do love the sound a deadline makes as it goes whizzing by). But please check back soon, and tell me what you would like to see, or just what you think in general.
